HOW TO REACH THE CAMPUS
Private buses, bearing green color on two sides, written Abant Izzet Baysal University on front and back and two buses written ‘BOLUSPOR’ on front and back, bearing red and white color are also operating between the city center and the campus. Two lines are in operation, one carries just next to Bolu terminal and the other provides access to the city center. Price is around 50 Euro cents(1 TL).
ACCOMMODATION
DORMITORIES
The University dorms allow a maximum capacity of 1000 for boys and 1000 for girls. The prices are for each term approximately 50-150 € and paid in advance. Dorms are equipped with high quality furniture and very comfortable and provides easy access to departments as they are located nearby. Laundry service, PC labs, canteen, barber and hairdresser is also available.
Besides there is another dorm alternative, belonging to Turkish Institution of Higher Education, Student Loans and Dormitories(shortly called Kredi-Yurtlar)offering the same price and allow a maximum capacity of 1000 for boys and 1000 for girls.
Private dorms in the city center offer a season-based (three-four month) price, ranging between 2000-3000 YTL including three meals, laundry, internet access, sports facilities and physician service.

GUEST HOUSE
AIBU Guest House, located in the wood serves to national and international academic staff and their guests with a three-star hotel quality. Each room is equipped with TV, fridge, shower and phone. The daily rates are 15 YTL/night-breakfast is included(less than 10 €).Credit cards are also welcomed.
RESTAURANTS
Turkish food is one of the delicious cuisine in the world. Due to recent developments in Turkish catering and food sector, excellent service is provided with hygienic measures throughout the country. In the university, a huge cafeteria is in service next to the dormitories area(Yurtlar Bölgesi), just opposite to the entrance of Library. Meal is usually composed of four different dishes, including soup, main dish(meat or chicken), cooked veggie, dessert/salad/fruit. The price of the meal is 1,5 YTL(1 Euro) for students and 4 YTL(2,25 Euro) for academic staff. A restaurant is serving breakfast and dinner in the guest house for the academic staff as well. Besides canteens are also available for breakfast, lunch and dining in the faculties. You can enjoy different meals in the campus and the city center as well, some is documented below:

Simit Sarayı(Placed at the basement floor in the student activity center-Traditional Turkish food ‘simit’, which is an encircled crispy dough baked with sesame, ‘börek’, pizza and various cookies are served.
Yörem Mantı(Placed at the basement floor in the student activity center- Mantı: A Turkish traditional food, minced meat is enclosed within baked dough, served with tomato sauce and yoghurt. Ohter alternatives are present.
Ketchap(placed at the uppest floor in the student activity center-which serves Turkish food beside sandwich,hamburger,toast,breakfast menu etc.
